Description
A stack of paper has been incorporated, on which handwritten words of hope are written, inspired by the wish lists that Jews place in the Western Wall in Jerusalem. A 6000-year-old bog oak finalizes the shape of the cube and represents the beginnings of faith with Abraham.
The cube also represents the Kaaba, a cuboid structure in the courtyard of the Al-Haram Mosque in Mecca. As the “House of God,” it is the central sanctuary of Islam.
